The WarmHive project was created to address the global bee extinction problem caused by varroa.

The goal of the project is to combat the Varroa destructor parasite using thermotherapy, which stops their reproduction process and then eliminates them. It turns out that the elevated temperature of the hive only negatively affects the mites, while the bees remain protected throughout the treatment.

WarmHive is a universal cover that can be installed on any mite infested hive. The system user does not need to monitor the flow of electricity - the system is entirely powered by solar energy. In addition, the project will develop an IT platform.

Lully Ball

A solution for dental offices

An app that works with a device to anticipate treatment anxiety in dental offices.

Designed device to measure the level of stress felt by the patient during the procedure.

The kit consists of a phone, headphones and a lully ball - a sensor-enabled anti-stress ball, through which the system recognizes, analyzes and automatically adjusts the type of music to the patient's condition lowering stress.

The app monitors the patient's condition in real time, and information about the stress level is displayed on the monitor screen. The system allows you to control the song list and automatically adjusts the volume to match the environment.

Multi Detect

Swine infectious disease early detection system for 7 most common viruses using image analysis, Big Data analytics and mobile technologies.
  • detection of the main pathogens of respiratory diseases and diseases of the digestive tract of pigs
  • Development of multipurpose tests for antigen detection based on Side Flow Analysis
  • Development of antibody and DNA microarray analysis
  • Comparison of LFA and DNA microarray-based prototypes using antigen detection assays: PCR and DAS-ELISA

The greatest achievement of the developed System, in addition to its unique technological design integrated with the animal testing platform, is the reduction of the time for virus detection and identification from 10 days to 10 minutes. The tool facilitates the management of pig farms and provides the necessary information on test results, comparing them to previous ones and storing and classifying them.

The information collected is used for statistics to track the impact of the disease on the farm and to establish animal health measures to improve production and productivity.

The technology was developed in cooperation with foreign partners from Spain and the Netherlands, as well as academic and research units from Madrid, Cordoba, Barcelona and Krakow.
